For whom is a TimeRide visit suitable?
Time travel with TIMERIDEis an unforgettable experience for a wide audience: children from the age of six, adults, seniors, families, tourists and Frankfurt residents, history buffs and technology enthusiasts. Many guests subsequently visit us at the other TIMERIDE locations.
Where can I buy tickets for TimeRide?
You can buy tickets for TIMERIDEconveniently online in our webshop or, subject to availability, at the box office on the day. We recommend that you secure your tickets in advance, as our experiences are often in high demand – especially on afternoons and weekends. Without online booking, there may be longer waiting times. Please note that places for our TIMERIDE GO! tours are very limited.
Do I have to print my ticket?
No, we value a paperless and environmentally friendly purchasing process. Of course you can also print out your tickets. On site, however, it is sufficient to show the ticket on your cell phone.
Can I have my tickets sent to me by mail?

I cannot attend TimeRide on my selected date. Can I change the appointment?
No. As we are an organizer, it is no longer possible to change or cancel tickets after a binding booking has been made. For your understanding, please read our terms and conditions.
My desired date is not offered to me in the web store. Why?
This can have several reasons. The date might already be fully booked, please look for an alternative date.
The date is not actually scheduled for a guided tour. Then there is the possibility to offer a special date. In this case, special prices for the product take effect. For more info, please make a request here.
The desired time period is still too far in the future. We may not have put the month on sale then. Keep checking back in the near future. Alternatively, you can ask here when the period goes on sale.
For which groups of people are there discounted tickets?
Children and young people up to 15 years, families of 4 or more (at least 1 child), PWD 70% + responsible companion
In which languages are the products offered?
Frakfurt 1891 is available in both German and English. TIMERIDE GO! Frankfurt, on the other hand, is only available in German.
In the web store, a clear distinction is made here between the two language offerings. If there is no English offer, then we usually cannot offer this.
I have never worn VR glasses. Is this hard to handle or can something break?
Many of our guests have never worn VR glasses before. Don’t worry! We explain on site how to put on the glasses. Nothing can break.
Will the VR goggles make me nauseous?
We can reassure you: In the many years that we have been time traveling with TIMERIDE, this has rarely been the case and you can of course take off your glasses at any time. Our VR ride in the carriages is relatively leisurely, so you can relax and take in the surroundings. In addition, vibration simulates real locomotion.
I wear glasses. Is that a problem?
As a rule, you can comfortably put the VR goggles over normal glasses. Varifocals should be removed for the journey or replaced by Single vision glasses be replaced. If your glasses are too big, we recommend wearing contact lenses.
I have hearing or vision impairments. Does TimeRide make sense for me?
The concept of TIMERIDEis strongly based on visual and auditory impressions. With appropriate impairments, the overall experience of your time travel will likely be diminished.
What do I need to consider to participate in the VR experience?
Don’t drink and Timeride!
We understand that celebrations together can sometimes invite you to have a drink or two – who can resist that? But a clear head is important for our time travel. For safety reasons, guests under the influence of alcohol are unfortunately unable to attend. In such cases, we reserve the right to refuse admission and a refund will not be possible. Thank you for your understanding – we look forward to going on a journey through time with you sober and full of anticipation.
We are a larger group. Can we all go on a journey through time together?
The capacity of our tours depends on the number of seats and VR glasses available. In the TIMERIDE SENSEUM (Frankfurt 1891) there are 10 places available per tour, for the TIMERIDE GO! tours 15 places. For larger groups, it is necessary to split the tour:
- TIMERIDE: If your group size exceeds the quota, then plan the additional places in the following time slot. Our time travels usually take place every 10 minutes. You can easily add more time slots and tickets to your shopping cart by clicking the CONTINUE PURCHASING button. Instructions for booking groups can be found directly in the webshop.
- TIMERIDE GO! guides: Here we find individual solutions. In this case, please contact us directly here.
I would like to visit TimeRide with a group and need an invoice.
If you book via our webshop, you can enter a billing address before completing the payment. After the purchase you will receive a booking confirmation from noreply@bookingkit.com. In this email you will find a link where you can conveniently download both your tickets and your invoice.
We would like to experience the VR tour / VR city tour exclusively for our group only. Is that possible?
We also offer exclusive group tours. Then all available seats in the tour must be purchased. Please contact our Guest&Ticket team for the corresponding prices and offers.
I would like to visit TimeRide with a large group / school class and can't manage the online booking. What can I do?
In the webshop you will find instructions to help you book groups. If your group exceeds the number of seats available, you can simply add more time slots and tickets to your shopping cart.
For school classes (15 pupils or more), please make a request using the group form.
What is the minimum age of my child?
Children ages 6 to 12 can participate in the VR ride if accompanied by an adult. Unfortunately, participation is not possible for children under the age of 6, as our VR glasses are not suitable for this age group due to their size and weight.
Children under the age of 6 are also not allowed to be present as companions, as supervision cannot be ensured during the VR Experience.
Can I bring my pet?
Animals are not allowed as supervision cannot be ensured during the VR Experience. So we can’t let dogs into the tour
Is there a customer restroom?
No, unfortunately we do not currently have a toilet for our guests. However, there is a clean public toilet opposite the Senseum.
I have impaired mobility. Can I also use TimeRide products?
There are some stairs in the SENSEUM Frankfurt. Unfortunately, we cannot allow wheelchair users access to the first two stations and the historic carriages. Alternatively, wheelchair users can take part in the TIMERIDE GO! City Tour.

TIMERIDEtickets can be purchased online or on-site at the TIMERIDE SENSEUM.
What is TimeRide Go!
TIMERIDE GO! Is a guided city tour that focuses on the history and change of your city. At various historical locations, you put on a pair of mobile VR goggles: In virtual reality, you can see what the place you’re currently in looked like at a certain point in history. A fascinating comparison of the past and present awaits you!
What is the difference to the stationary TimeRide?
The stationary TIMERIDEtakes place exclusively in our TIMERIDE SENSEUM. You will be given a guided tour of various lovingly designed rooms. Your highlight: the virtual reality time travel.
What happens in bad weather?
As we all know, there is no such thing as bad weather, only bad clothes! All kidding aside, we try to run TIMERIDE GO! even in rainy weather. If our tours cannot take place on the day of the event, we will inform you by phone in time. Therefore, please be sure to include a phone number with your booking. In addition, you should be equipped weatherproof for every tour, because sometimes a rain shower comes as a surprise. This includes sturdy shoes, a jacket and umbrella.

How long does the TimeRide Go! Tour?
Our TIMERIDE GO! Tours last about 45 minutes.
I have impaired mobility. Can I still join the city tour?
The TIMERIDE GO! tour is at ground level. Therefore, participation with wheelchair is also possible. If you have a question, feel free to contact us!
How do I redeem my voucher?
Select your ticket for your desired date in the ticket store and add it to the shopping cart. In the “Check shopping cart” area, enter the code on your voucher. The amount will be credited to your account automatically. If you still have a remaining amount on your voucher, this will remain on the previous voucher code and can be used again on your next purchase. Pay attention to upper and lower case when entering the voucher code!
Where can I buy a voucher?
You can buy vouchers online. Go to the appropriate experience and either select a predefined voucher value or enter a free voucher value.
Can I redeem my voucher at any TimeRide?
No, you can only redeem your voucher for the TIMERIDEwhere it was issued.
How long is my voucher valid for?
Our vouchers are always valid for 3 years until the end of the year.
Example: A voucher from 01.05.2022 is valid until 31.12.2025.
Can I have a voucher sent to me by post?
No, we value a paperless and environmentally friendly purchasing process. You are welcome to print your voucher. On site, however, it is sufficient to show the voucher on your cell phone.
Are TimeRide vouchers value vouchers?
Yes, all vouchers from TIMERIDE are value vouchers. This means that your credit can be used for any TIMERIDE product (TIMERIDEand TIMERIDE GO!). Vouchers are therefore not to be confused with tickets booked for a specific date at a specific TIMERIDE.
How do I redeem my promo or discount code?
Promo or discount codes are redeemable online only. To do this, select tickets for a desired date in the ticket store and place them in the shopping cart. You can enter the codes in the “Check cart” section.
Pay attention to upper and lower case when entering the voucher code!
The code will then discount the contents of the shopping cart accordingly.
Unfortunately, promo or discount codes cannot be redeemed at the box office.
I won 2 tickets in a raffle. Can I also add more tickets to my order?
Of course! Just add the amount of tickets you need to your shopping cart. Entering the code will automatically discount the tickets you have won.
How do I get a promo or discount code?
TIMERIDEoffers special promotions or discounts from time to time. Keep your eyes and ears open and follow us on social media to never miss a promotion. Promo codes are also frequently given to our business partners:inside. Ask at your work or in your club if there is already a cooperation with us. If not, you are of course welcome to recommend us.
