Mödlareuth - one village, two worlds
Located between Bavaria and Thuringia, Mödlareuth was a symbol of German division for decades – known as “Little Berlin”, it became a symbol of a divided nation. During the 60-minute journey through time, you will explore the village along eight stations and immerse yourself in the eventful history of this unique place with the help of virtual reality glasses.
You will be accompanied by the narrative characters Lise and Ludwig – two fictional villagers, each from one half of the village. They guide you through formative moments such as the construction of the wooden fence in 1952, the erection of the Wall, escape attempts, political visits and finally the emotional moment of the opening of the border in 1989.
The tour begins with an introductory film in front of the German-German Museum and then takes you directly to the original locations over a distance of around 1 km – impressive, moving and historically well-founded.
In the footsteps of emperors and monks - with VR on the Petersberg
In the middle of Erfurt’s Petersberg, you embark on an extraordinary journey back in time to the 12th century. Accompanied by the fictional monastery brother Kuno, you will explore the once important St. Peter’s Monastery – from the quiet cloisters to the political power center of an imperial court.
At nine stations with specially designed VR scenes, you can experience monastery life between everyday life and a state of emergency: gardening, the writing room, refectory and monastery brewery are just as much the focus as the highlight of the tour – Henry the Lion’s legendary genuflection before Emperor Frederick Barbarossa in 1181.
The approximately 60-minute tour starts in the historic defensive barracks with a 360° introductory film and then takes you around 900 m through the former monastery grounds – immersive, steeped in history and with an impressive view over Erfurt.

You can experience more than 350 years of city history in a unique way in Celle: A guided city tour through the historic town center meets state-of-the-art virtual reality technology. At eight selected stations, you can visually immerse yourself in key moments of Celle’s past – from a medieval market day to Baroque court life around the Residential Palace.
The approximately 90-minute tour takes you over 1.3 km through the city center and combines real historical locations with atmospherically designed VR scenes – including the plague years, a spectacular jousting tournament, the entry of the Danish Queen Caroline Mathilde and much more.

Life at Celle Castle - virtual and up close
Courtly intrigues, royal excesses and the comeback of a Danish queen – the VR palace tour in Celle immerses you in the splendid life of the 18th century. Seven stations with eight virtual reality scenes bring the Celle Residential Palace back to life.
Accompanied by the narrative voice of Louise von Plessen, lady-in-waiting and confidante of the queen, you will experience how Caroline Mathilde ends up in exile in Celle after a royal scandal – and how she brings new life to the empty palace. From the reception by the citizens of Celle and gossip in the palace kitchen to theater performances, show dinners and private insights into the apartments, a detailed picture of everyday life at court emerges.
The 60-90 minute tour is rounded off with an impressive visit to the palace chapel and a view of the monument in the French Garden – an emotional finale to an extraordinary journey through time.

With the town of Saarburg and TimeRide, you embark on a 50-minute tour in an electric carriage that immerses you in the captivating history of the town with virtual reality glasses.
At seven different stations, you can experience at first hand how the medieval castle was built, the first mill at the waterfall was put into operation and the market square was lit by electricity for the first time. Immerse yourself in the everyday life of the town in the past and witness formative historical events, including Franz von Sickingen’s attack on the castle, a lively everyday scene in the artisanal lower town in the Staden, a bell casting in the Mabilon bell foundry and a busy market scene.
The VR ride with the electric carriage offers space for up to six people per tour and provides a unique and unforgettable experience
GrimmZeit in Steinau - a virtual reality adventure
Welcome to the Brothers Grimm town of Steinau! Experience a fascinating journey through time with our partner, using mobile VR glasses to original locations from the lives of the Brothers Grimm. The tour takes you through the years 1795-1798, from idyllic family life in Steinau to the departure of the Brothers Grimm into a promising future. Your personal tour guide will accompany you to eleven stations, where you will also meet the youngest brother Ludwig Emil and characters from popular fairy tales.
