Time travel with TIMERIDEis an unforgettable experience for a wide audience: children from the age of six, adults, senior citizens, families, tourists and Dresdeners, history buffs and technology enthusiasts. Many guests subsequently visit us at the other TIMERIDE locations.

It’s not a must-have, but it’s a strong recommendation. Depending on the time and day of the week, our experiences are in high demand. Especially on weekends, it can therefore lead to long waiting times if the ticket is only purchased at the box office.
We also offer the lowest prices online. So there are several advantages to buying tickets online.
No, it is enough if you can show the ticket on your cell phone.
No, we value a paperless and environmentally friendly purchasing process. Of course you can also print out your tickets. On site, however, it is sufficient to show the ticket on your cell phone.
This can have several reasons. The date might already be fully booked, please look for an alternative date.
The date is not actually scheduled for a guided tour. Then there is the possibility to offer a special date. In this case, special prices for the product take effect. For more info, please make a request here.
The desired time period is still far in the future. We may not have put the month on sale then. Keep checking back in the near future. Alternatively, you can ask here when the period goes on sale.
All children aged 6-17, schoolchildren, students and trainees, FSJ (Voluntary Social Year) and FWD (Voluntary Military Service) participants receive reduced admission. Severely disabled persons with a degree of disability (GdB) of 70 or more and their companion:in (B) are also welcome at reduced prices. Please bring proof, if applicable, to take advantage of this offer.
As a rule, we offer all our products in German and English. In the web store, a clear distinction is made here between the two language offerings. If there is no English offer, then we usually cannot offer this.
Many of our guests have never worn VR glasses before. Don’t worry! We explain on site how to put on the glasses. Nothing can break.
We can reassure you: In the many years that we have been time traveling with TIMERIDE, no one has really gotten sick. Our VR ride in the carriages is relatively leisurely, so you can relax and take in the surroundings. In addition, vibration simulates real locomotion.
As a rule, you can comfortably pull the VR glasses over your normal glasses. Varifocals should be removed for the journey or replaced by Single vision glasses be replaced. If your glasses are too big, we recommend wearing contact lenses.
The concept of TIMERIDEis strongly based on visual and auditory impressions. With appropriate impairments, the overall experience of your time travel will likely be diminished.
In our webshop groups up to 36 persons have the possibility to book three consecutive time slots for their group. If your group is larger, it is a school class or similar, please submit a request via the group form.
If you have booked the group yourself via our webshop, you can enter your company address yourself before you make the payment.
Group bookings made directly via our Guest&Ticket service will receive a booking confirmation from our booking system at . This e-mail contains a link that you click on to make the payment online. You can also enter the desired company address yourself before making the payment.
For capacity per tour, we rely on the number of VR glasses we have available. In the Senseum (Dresden 1719) we currently have 24 seats per tour. In the TIMERIDE GO! tours 15 seats.
If the group is larger, it must be divided accordingly. At TIMERIDE SENSEUM, we then usually offer the group a staggered tour start. So a tour starts every 20 minutes until the last group members are through.
We will find individual solutions for the TIMERIDE GO! tours. In this case, please contact us here.
We also offer exclusive group tours. Then all available seats in the tour must be purchased. Please contact our Guest&Ticket team for the corresponding prices and offers.
Children ages 6 to 12 can participate in the VR ride if accompanied by an adult. Unfortunately, participation is not possible for children under the age of 6, as our VR glasses are not suitable for this age group due to their size and weight. Children under the age of 6 are also not allowed to be present as companions, as supervision cannot be ensured during the VR Experience.
Animals are not allowed as supervision cannot be ensured during the VR Experience.
The SENSEUM Dresden is at ground level. Unfortunately, we cannot provide access to our baroque carriages for wheelchair users. However, it is possible for the wheelchair user to take part in the VR ride next to the carriage. Please inform us in advance so that we can prepare the tour accordingly.
TIMERIDEtickets can be purchased online or on-site at the TIMERIDE SENSEUM.
TIMERIDE GO! Is a guided city tour that focuses on the history and change of your city. At selected historical locations, you put on a pair of mobile VR goggles: In virtual reality, you can see what the place you’re currently in looked like at a certain point in history. A fascinating comparison of the past and present awaits you!
The stationary TIMERIDEtakes place exclusively in our TIMERIDE SENSEUM. You will be given a guided tour of various lovingly designed rooms. Your highlight: the virtual reality time travel.
As we all know, there is no such thing as bad weather, only bad clothes! All kidding aside, we try to run TIMERIDE GO! even in rainy weather. If our tours cannot take place on the day of the event, we will inform you by phone in time. Therefore, please be sure to include a phone number with your booking. In addition, you should be equipped weatherproof for every tour, because sometimes a rain shower comes as a surprise. This includes sturdy shoes, a jacket and umbrella.

In our TIMERIDE GO! we overcome steps and stairs. Therefore, it is difficult to participate with a wheelchair. If you have a question, feel free to contact us!
Tickets for the TIMERIDE-REELS can only be purchased on site at the Senseum. The demonstrations start depending on the demand.
Select your ticket for your desired date in the ticket store and add it to the shopping cart. In the “Check shopping cart” area, enter the code on your voucher. The amount will be credited to your account automatically. If you still have a remaining amount on your voucher, this will remain on the previous voucher code and can be used again on your next purchase. Pay attention to upper and lower case when entering the voucher code!
You can buy vouchers online. Go to the appropriate experience and either select a predefined voucher value or enter a free voucher value.
No, you can only redeem your voucher for the TIMERIDEwhere it was issued.
Our vouchers are always valid for 3 years until the end of the year.
Example: A voucher from 01.05.2022 is valid until 31.12.2025.

Yes, all vouchers from TIMERIDE are value vouchers. This means that your credit can be used for any TIMERIDE product (TIMERIDEand TIMERIDE GO!). Vouchers are therefore not to be confused with tickets booked for a specific date at a specific TIMERIDE.
You can redeem a promo or discount code online only. To do this, select your tickets for a desired date in the ticket store and place them in the shopping cart. In the “Check out cart” section you can enter your code.
Pay attention to upper and lower case when entering the voucher code!
The code will then discount the contents of the shopping cart accordingly.
Unfortunately, it is not possible to redeem your promo or discount code at the box office.
Of course! Just add the amount of tickets you need to your shopping cart. Entering the code will automatically discount the tickets you have won.
