It’s not a must-have, but it’s a strong recommendation. Depending on the time and day of the week, our experiences are in high demand. Especially on weekends, it can therefore lead to long waiting times if the ticket is only purchased at the box office.
We also offer the lowest prices online. So there are several advantages to buying tickets online.
No, it is enough if you can show the ticket on your cell phone.
No, we value a paperless and environmentally friendly purchasing process. Of course you can also print out your tickets. On site, however, it is sufficient to show the ticket on your cell phone.
This can have several reasons. The date might already be fully booked, please look for an alternative date.
The date is not actually scheduled for a guided tour. Then there is the possibility to offer a special date. In this case, special prices for the product take effect. For more info, please make a request here.
The desired time period is still too far in the future. We may not have put the month on sale then. Keep checking back in the near future. Alternatively, you can ask here when the period goes on sale.
All children aged 6-17, schoolchildren, students and trainees, FSJ (Voluntary Social Year) and FWD (Voluntary Military Service) participants receive reduced admission. Severely disabled persons with a degree of disability (GdB) of 70 or more and their companion:in (B) are also welcome at reduced prices. Please bring proof, if applicable, to take advantage of this offer.
In Berlin we are international and therefore offer Berlin 1985 at SENSEUM in German, English, French, Spanish and Italian. To enjoy the experience in a language other than German, please bring your smartphone and headphones.
The webshop makes a clear distinction between the language offers. If there is no offer in your language, then we usually cannot offer this either.
Many of our guests have never worn VR glasses before. Don’t worry! We explain on site how to put on the glasses. Nothing can go wrong.
We can reassure you: In the many years we’ve been time traveling with TIMERIDE, very rarely has anyone gotten sick, but you can easily take off your glasses. Our VR ride on the bus is quite leisurely, so you can relax and take in the surroundings.
As a rule, you can comfortably put the VR goggles over normal glasses. Varifocals should be removed for the journey or replaced by Single vision glasses be replaced. If your glasses are too big, we recommend wearing contact lenses.
The concept of TIMERIDEis strongly based on visual and auditory impressions. With appropriate impairments, the overall experience of your time travel will likely be diminished.
In our webshop, groups of up to 36 people can book three consecutive time slots for their group. TIMERIDE GO! allows up to 14 people.
If your group is larger, please make a request via the group form.
If you have booked the group yourself via our webshop, you can enter your company address yourself before you make the payment.
Group bookings made directly via our Guest&Ticket service will receive a booking confirmation from our booking system at . This e-mail contains a link that you click on to make the payment online. You can also enter the desired company address yourself before making the payment.
For capacity per tour, we rely on the number of VR glasses we have available. In the Senseum with the time travel Berlin 1985 we currently have 12 seats per tour. For the TIMERIDE GO! tours there are 14 seats.
If the group is larger, it must be divided accordingly. At TIMERIDE SENSEUM, we then usually offer the group a staggered tour start. So every 10 minutes a tour starts until the last group members are through.
For TIMERIDE GO! tours we are looking for individual solutions. In this case, please contact us here.
We also offer exclusive group tours. Then all available seats in the tour must be purchased. Please contact our Guest&Ticket team here for the corresponding prices and offers.
Children ages 6 to 12 can participate in the VR ride if accompanied by an adult. Due to the duty of supervision, the accompanying person is unfortunately not allowed to wear VR glasses during the tour.
Unfortunately, participation is not possible for children under the age of 6, as our VR glasses are not suitable for this age group due to their size and weight. Children under the age of 6 also cannot be present as companions, as supervision cannot be ensured during the VR Experience.
Unfortunately, animals are not allowed because the care of the animal during the VR Experience cannot be ensured.
The SENSEUM Berlin is at ground level and has no steps. Nevertheless, please inform us in advance about the mobility impairment so that we can prepare the tour accordingly.
No, unfortunately it is not possible to bring a baby carriage on site.
As we don’t have the storage space for large luggage, this is unfortunately not possible.

TIMERIDE GO! Is a guided city tour that focuses on the history and change of your city. At selected historical locations, you put on a pair of mobile VR goggles: In virtual reality, you can see what the place you are currently at looked like at a certain point in history. A fascinating comparison of the past and present awaits you!
The starting point is Zimmerstraße 91; the end point of the city tour is the Brandenburg Gate.
The stationary TIMERIDE takes place exclusively indoors in our TIMERIDE SENSEUM. You will be given a guided tour of various lovingly designed rooms. Your highlight: the virtual reality time travel through divided Berlin.
As we all know, there is no such thing as bad weather, only bad clothes! All kidding aside, we try to run TIMERIDE GO! even in rainy weather. If our tours cannot take place on the day of the event, we will inform you by phone in time. Therefore, please be sure to include a phone number with your booking. In addition, you should be equipped weatherproof for every tour, because sometimes a rain shower comes as a surprise. This includes sturdy shoes, a jacket and umbrella.

The amount will be credited to your account automatically. If you still have a remaining amount on your voucher, this will remain on the previous voucher code and can be used again on your next purchase. Each TIMERIDE experienceis specifically tailored to a particular city and its history.

Grasp the VR set like binoculars and move it vertically up and down without moving your head until you find the sharpest point for you and attach the goggles to the back of your head via the wheel. If you still have problems, please contact our time travel guides on site.
We can reassure you: In the many years that TIMERIDE has been around, no one has gotten seriously sick. Our VR ride is relatively leisurely so you can relax and take in your surroundings. In addition, the airflow and vibration simulate real locomotion. However, if something should happen, please always raise your hand and make yourself noticed. Our time travel companions will be happy to support you.

Start: Your tour usually starts directly at the TIMERIDE SENSEUM. The exception is the Cologne Cathedral 360 tour – here your tour guide will be waiting for you at the Kreuzblume opposite the main portal of the cathedral.
