With TimeRide GO! a guided city tour becomes an actual trip through time, and our guests become eyewitnesses of history. 

Your guide will take you on a 90 min. and 2.5 km tour through 400 years of Dresden’s history. At 9 stops you will be able to compare today’s reality with the very same place centuries or decades ago – all with the help of our mobile VR headsets. Virtual reality offers you a 360° view of the city’s highlight sites and our charming guides will enrich your visual experience with many interesting and moving stories. You are in for an impressive and emotional journey! 

The glamorous Baroque period, the fascinating transformation of the city until the 1920s, destruction during WWII, new ideas of socialism, and finally reunification – all these have left their marks. And now, you will be able to see them with your own eyes in a new and unique way better than ever before!

For our public tours you need to buy a ticket in advance. Our guides do not sell tickets. We strongly recommend online booking in advance. Please bring your tickets with you in electronic form or printed.

    FAQ

    The VR glasses are part of this unique city tour and are provided by us. You will receive them on the day of the event as a loan object from our tour guide for the duration of the event.

    As we all know, there is no such thing as bad weather, only bad clothes! Joking aside, we try to run TimeRide GO! even in rainy weather. If our tours cannot take place on the day of the event, we will inform you by phone in time. Therefore, please be sure to include a phone number with your reservation. Furthermore, you should be equipped weatherproof for every tour, because sometimes a rain shower comes as a surprise. This includes sturdy shoes, a jacket and umbrella.

    Our tour takes us 2.5 kilometers through the inner city of Dresden.There are no stairs to climb, but a physical strain on the mobility-impaired person or the accompanying person is to be expected. If the person with limited mobility is aware of the strain, nothing stands against participation.

    TimeRide GO! is a guided walking city tour (90 min. and 2.5 km), which will take you through 400 years of Dresden history. The stationary TimeRide attraction takes place indoors and will take you on a fascinating tour to the Golden Baroque era of Dresden (45 min.) – also highly recommended!
