Special feature:
The FORG (Frankfurt-Offenbacher Tram-Gesellschaft) operated one of the first electric streetcars in Germany from 1884. In winter, glowing briquettes were inserted into the compartments under the floor for heating. The running characteristics of the FOTG were relatively bumpy and earned the nickname “Knochenmiehl” (bone mill).
