This tour starts with a short introduction and takes you on foot to the first VR station, which shows the Bavarian capital shortly after its foundation around 1180. Immerse yourself in the fascinating Renaissance and Baroque eras before we turn our attention to a famous event that made Munich famous worldwide – Oktoberfest!
Admire the Theresienwiese, where the wedding of Bavarian Crown Prince Ludwig and Therese once took place, and experience the birth of the legendary Oktoberfest. The tour continues with a look at the once magnificent winter garden of the fairy-tale king Ludwig II and a journey into the turbulent times of National Socialism and the consequences of the Second World War in the 20th century.
Our tour ends at the Olympic Stadium, the site of the 1974 World Cup. Ideal for the whole family and all history buffs who want to experience Munich from a new perspective!
