In the Taschenbergpalais you will be welcomed by the former residents Friedrich August II and Maria Josepha of Austria. From this domicile on the former Taschenberg, you can set off on four different fascinating journeys through time using VR glasses. Our VR city tours are suitable for school classes from the 5th grade upwards
Changing cityscape
An atmospheric short film opens the experience and highlights central places, themes and perspectives of Münster today – from urban society and architecture to mobility and urban life.
Historical exhibition
In an interactive exhibition, guests immerse themselves in five selected eras of the city’s history and get to know fictional characters that they later encounter again in VR.
Virtual bicycle time travel
The highlight is the VR ride on a stationary bike: a virtual tour through digitally reconstructed streets, accompanied by voices from five different eras – personal, immersive and moving.
