The journey begins with Anni’s Grandma Bertha, who takes you on a journey into the world of Cologne’s Christmas celebrations of days gone by. With the help of a magical book, she tells you about old customs, festive traditions, and her memories of the Christmas markets from her childhood.
Together with little Anni, you visit a festively decorated 1920s pastry shop. She wants to quickly pick up a new tin of Christmas cookies for her grandma before the last streetcar of the day leaves.
Hop aboard a historic streetcar and join Anni on a journey through snow-covered Cologne in the 1920s. As you pass festively lit streets, Christmas markets, and the sounds of the Christmas Eve Mass, you’ll experience the special atmosphere of Christmas Eve. Once they arrive at the Alter Markt, Anni meets her grandmother, and together they make their way to the festively lit church—the atmospheric finale to an unforgettable Christmas journey.
